Clubhouse Amit is the first Clubhouse in Israel. 
It was established in 2004 with the accompaniment and support of the Ministry of Health, and is located in a charming corner in Nazerat Ilit. 

During its years of existence Clubhouse Amit grew and developed, and in May 2014 it was successfully accredited by the international Clubhouse organization. 

Clubhouse Amit is the first and only certified Clubhouse in Israel. Today it has a hundred registered members and it has to its credit many successful rehabilitations in the fields of employment, education and society.

These successes are a result of the unique space that was created in the Clubhouse – a space where people facing a mental disability are able to belong to an egalitarian society, where they feel needed and valued and share a belonging to a place in which they are also responsible for its functioning and success.

The clubhouse community includes religious and secular Jews, Muslim and Christian Arabs, persons of the Ethiopian congregation, immigrants from Russia, Ukraine and more. Community members are residents from the entire region: Nazerat Illit, Nazerat, Afula and the valleys, Migdal HaEmek, and Moshavim, Kibbutzim and villages nearby.

The Clubhouse operates throughout the year, from morning till evening, and is intended for any person who deals with a mental disability, and is entitled to the services of a rehabilitation basket by The Community Rehabilitation of Persons with Mental Health Disability Law.
