Clubhouse Amit - Nazareth Illit

Partnerships

Academic College of Emek Yezreel

The connection between the academic college of Emek Yezreel and the Clubhouse began in 2010, with the purpose of enabling community members to enjoy a respectable education like every person, in the "free auditors" track, with a significant discount of 50% off tuition and registration fees.

The college, in addition to opening its doors and subsidizing, accompanies the Clubhouse students through the "Support Unit for Students with Learning Disabilities". The unit assists students with hearing disabilities, ADHD problems, etc.

The "students for students" program, a part of the help that the unit provides, connects Clubhouse students with accompanying students. As part of the cooperation, we lectured to the psychology department students about our lives.

The Clubhouse students tell:

"Each time I went to study, I felt real elation. It was meaningful for me to be in the company of young people."

"I found a field that interests me and discovered abilities within myself. I could see the processes I was going through during studies. This affected other areas of life as well. Today, I am more confident in myself and in my choices. I also feel that I have a need to further develop my capabilities."

Ramat David Kibbutz

In 2013, the Ramat David Kibbutz opened its gates before us and since then it has been hosting us once a year for a fund-raising fair.

The fair is a peak of partnership, as the kibbutz contributes the location and the culture facilities; kibbutz members come in crowds to enjoy the fair and some of them also help in its organization.

Clubhouse members operate the stands, sell, and also explain the clubhouse model.

This partnership is an excellent example of a situation where all parties benefit -

Everyone enjoys a cultural event together and all are brought closer.
