Public Relations

Our community is undoubtedly unique. People undergo significant processes in it, and it is based on an innovative international model.
It is important to us to give and to project outwards all the good that we have gained. Therefore, we share our professionalism in public relations!
In addition, public relations is an important tool in stigma reduction, as a result of a face to face meeting with community members and their personal story, and thanks to a new thinking concept that we suggest.
It can be seen in any explanation given by us that the audience is very excited, curious, asks a lot of questions, and even expresses a change in perception about mental health.

We are invitied to present oursleves in various places such as:
Oranim Academic College, Ruppin Academic Center, The Haifa district court, Crisis hotline (Eran) volunteers
and more.
It might be unnecessary to mention, and yet we will: all of the development and guidance of public relations is led by members who tell in the first person, and not by "professionals" who come to tell "about…"

In public relations we provide general information about mental health, the clubhouse model and personal stories. They are accompanied with a presentation and develop a discourse with the crowd. By invitation, we can focus on specific subjects.
A public relations event can be combined with a theatre piece.

Theatre

At first, the theatre began out of a need to express, to look at life from the side, in the third person.
While learning acting, we developed the ability to express feelings without "taking to heart", to process a situation in a new and special manner.
We saw that it succeeds, that we have a lot of talent and that we can raise plays with meaning.

Our first show was in Eilat, in the national conference of our association. The subject was the daily life in the Clubhouse. From that point the shows got bigger, before the mental health forum, an internal families evening, the national coalition of the Clubhouse communities in Israel and more.

The participation in the group is based on choice. The success of the group depends on the commitment of its participants. It is interesting to be a part of the process that the group members undergo. Their participation is out of choice and their commitment is without compulsion.
Group members tell that participation empowers and raises their self-confidence and their eloquence.
The group meets once a week for regular rehearsals and towards shows the number of meetings increases.

"Rehearsals let me meet myself and make me reflect on my means of coping and my self-perception."

We will be happy to arrive to theatre shows and public relations events all over the country, before every target audience (not necessarily on the subject of mental health). You are invited to contact us and enjoy this meaningful experience!
