"Connex Jerusalem, The company which

operates and maintains the light rail, believes in

equal opportunity  employment and integrates

employees of all sectors within the company. The company

is responsible for all aspects of operating and maintaining

the light train, and for a year now it employs workers of the Clubhouse. To advance this equality, the employees are starting to work as the company's employees since their first day of work. Beyond that, the tight cooperation with the Clubhouse, which gives us direction all the way through, is a key for success. The employers are employed within the light rail's hub which is located at the center of the city (at "Merkaz Klal"). Without a doubt, the ability of the Clubhouse to match the right employee to the right environment for them had been the source of a successful connection with the Clubhouse and the employees' sense of capability within the company. In addition, thanks to the Transitional Job

Program, we get support from the Clubhouse while

our workers are absent or go through training, and

that way the job is always done in the best

way possible."

"We employ two Clubhouse members as part of our

Tutors Team. First and foremost, it is important to note that they are great workers and put their hearts and thoughts for the good of our pupils. In addition, they have a significant advantage over the other tutors.
They have been through some kind of crisis throughout their lives and therefore can truly identify with the pupils, since they were in a tough place themselves but managed to make a personal progression and growth out of it. I'd like to finish with a short anecdote. During a meeting with one of the tutors, in one of the city's hospitals, we went to the psychiatric department. It's impossible to describe the excitement of the department's staff as they realized that the tutor, who was hospitalized there in the past, is now going to guide and support another patient. For these moments alone,

I feel it is worthy to employ such

employees as tutors."

"Clubhouse, Thank you. Thank you for the accompaniment and guidance, and the employees you referred to us. We're happy to have such devoted workers who are supported by the attentive team of the Clubhouse. It is important to us, as the owners of the business, to integrate people of distinctive communities, those who face difficulties and challenges. And indeed, during work we discover various challenges which are not simple. In spite of that, those mutual confrontations bring us to growth, real work, and positive outcomes. In time, the employees are getting accustomed and handling better the assignments and tasks given, and reach achievements which empower them. In the hope of continuing a fructuous cooperation,

The Old Katamon Café staff."
