Why the clubhouse?

 

We are part of a worldwide distribution of 350 communities, more than 70 years of experience, and dozens of studies and articles, that show significant efficacy of our system.

Pre-employment system:

1. A deep acquaintance from a broad perspective enables maximum adjustment between the employee, the job, and the workplace.

2. Preparing for market demands in all aspects, including team interaction, prioritization of tasks, persistence, timely arrival, systematic work, etc.

Community Accompaniment:

1.  Very effective for employees. We receive advice and feedback from colleagues with whom we have worked in the pre-employment system and serve as a personal example and inspiration for job seekers in the community. This responsibility and community guidance contribute greatly to maintaining the workplace over time.

2.  The process of community guidance speeds up all stages of placement. The number of jobs available to members is greater because all members of the community participate in group work searches, intensive and more extensive accompaniment, including employment workshops, organization of evenings that recognize employers, etc.

Partnership:

1. Clubhouse employees are used to working at the macro level, to work in significant positions such as personnel management, marketing, financial management, work plan construction, and more. As a result, the skill and even more importantly our vision and understanding, enables them to be employees who see the whole system and know how to act within it.

2.  As a result of the joint community responsibility for accompanying and finding jobs for members of the community, when members come to a place of work, we already have experience connecting with employers. When I am responsible for finding work for another member of the community, it frees me from personal pressure. I try to understand the employer's need, write a job ad, an internal job interview, etc. All of these teach me what the employer's mind thinks, which helps me to choose and function better in my workplace.

A transitional employment program that includes significant advantages that do not exist in any other program in Israel:

Training: Staff training is done by a member of the Clubhouse staff and at our expense.

Cover Absences: When the employee cannot get to work for any reason, the responsibility of the clubhouse is to find a skilled replacement who knows the job (friend or staff member).

 

Our employment program provides the employer peace of mind and stability along with support for people who have left the labor market and want to return to it. The employer receives the opportunity to integrate these people and enjoy their skills without coping with difficulties in absorption, training and employment.
